Job Title: Production Head - ERW Pipes & Tubes Plant

Location: Bhuj, Gujarat, India

Department: Production

Reporting to: Operations Head

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Head for our ERW pipes and tubes manufacturing plant in Bhuj. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 years of experience in a similar industry and a strong background in managing production operations. They should be adept at coordinating between Planning, Preproduction, and Production teams to achieve targeted production, quality, cost, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management: Oversee and manage the entire production process to ensure efficient operations that meet or exceed production targets and quality standards.
• Coordination: Facilitate smooth coordination between Planning, Preproduction, and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow and achievement of production targets.
• Performance Monitoring: Maintain daily production and performance records, ensuring timely completion of assigned targets and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Process Optimization: Implement and monitor quality systems at various stages of operation to maintain and enhance product quality.
• Cost Management: Identify and implement measures to reduce manufacturing costs without compromising on quality.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of production workers, supervisors, and technicians, providing training, mentorship, and support to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and standards, fostering a culture of safety within the production team.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular production reports to the Plant Manager/Operations Head. Provide insights and recommendations for improving production performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in coordinating between Planning, Preproduction, and Production teams.
• Strong understanding of ERW pipe and tube production processes and machinery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred
