Job Title: Maintenance Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Head to join our ERW Pipe & Tube plant in Bhuj, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in an ERW pipe and tube plant. This role requires a deep understanding of equipment performance and maintenance, with a focus on achieving zero breakdown time and optimizing machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance and Maintenance: Ensure the performance and maintenance of various equipment, aiming for zero breakdown time.
• Uptime and Reliability: Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of equipment and machinery through optimum machine maintenance performance by improving MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).
• Project Management: Schedule and complete all maintenance project work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Breakdown Analysis: Analyze major breakdowns and implement necessary preventive and corrective countermeasures to reduce downtime with quick turnaround responses and efficient solutions.
• Budget Management: Plan, manage, and control the maintenance budget (including power, spares, oil, repair, and maintenance costs).
• Spares Management: Maintain critical spares and control spares inventory.
• Contractor Monitoring: Monitor the work of outside contractors to ensure value for money and safety.
• Machine Upgradation: Oversee machine reconditioning, upgrading, and retrofitting.
• Electrical Maintenance: Manage electrical power distribution maintenance activities through planned and predictive methodologies.
• Energy Conservation: Implement various energy conservation activities to reduce the power budget.
• Capital Expenditure Planning: Plan for capital expenditure related to plant expansion, capacity enhancement, energy conservation, safety, and obtain approval and implementation.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs for subordinate skill development and train them to achieve as a team.
• Technical Support: Support the purchase department in technical aspects to obtain quotes for alternatives to reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in an ERW pipe and tube plant.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment performance, maintenance management, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
