Production Head

Job Summary:
Production Head will oversee and manage the end-to-end production operations in our Electronics Manufacturing facilityFactory. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality manufacturing processes, optimize production efficiency, and lead a team toward achieving organizational goals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to deliver exceptional production outcomes while adhering to safety, quality, and cost parameters.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Execution:

1. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
2. Oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets for quality, volume, and timelineson time delivery, cost are met.

Operational Excellence

1. Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and regulatory requirements.
3. Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to reduce waste and improve operational processes.

Team Leadership

1. Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
2. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Quality Assurance

1. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product standards are met throughout the production life-cycle.
2. Address and resolve quality issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction.

Process Improvement:

1. Identify opportunities for improving production processes, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity.
2. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency-improving methodologies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

1. Work closely with R&D, supply chain, quality, and sales teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.
2. Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring production readiness and scalability.

Compliance and Documentation:

1. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and manufacturing regulations.
2. Maintain accurate records of production activities, metrics, and reports.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and leadership role.

Required Skills:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Electronics manufacturing processes, final assembly, testing of product, production planning, and plant operations management.
