Production Incharge

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Incharge to oversee and manage the manufacturing operations for our paint and coatings division. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality paint and coatings products while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards. This position involves supervising a team, optimizing production processes, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Location : Wada, Kudus

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop and implement production plans to ensure the timely manufacturing of paint and coatings products in accordance with customer demands and production targets.
• Create detailed production schedules to allocate resources effectively and minimize downtime.
• Ensure production capacity meets forecasted demand while adhering to quality standards.
• Team Leadership & Supervision:
• Lead, train, and motivate the production team to achieve production goals.
• Supervise the work of production staff, including operators, technicians, and other workers, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process Optimization:
• Continuously monitor and assess production processes for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Identify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks, equipment failures, or quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with the R&D and Quality Control teams to implement product improvements and process enhancements.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations within the plant.
• Promote a culture of safety, including training, risk assessments, and regular safety audits.
• Ensure that all products meet regulatory and quality control requirements, including testing, documentation, and approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ISO, EPA, and other industry-specific regulations.
• Inventory & Resource Management:
• Manage the inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to maintain an uninterrupted production flow.
• Work with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and manage stock levels.
• Optimize resource allocation to improve cost efficiency while maintaining product quality.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare regular production reports, including performance metrics, production output, downtime, and quality statistics.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all production-related activities, including batch records, maintenance logs, and safety compliance records.
• Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Work closely with the Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to resolve any production issues or improvements.
• Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure efficient distribution and delivery of finished products.
• Participate in new product development processes, providing input on manufacturability and scale-up.
• Budget & Cost Control:
• Assist in developing and managing the annual production budget.
• Monitor production costs and work towards meeting or reducing budgeted targets.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role within the chemical manufacturing industry, preferably in paints and coatings or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, especially in the production of paints, coatings, or similar products.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of industry regulations, including safety standards (OSHA), ISO standards, and environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  
• Candidate from Bhiwandi, kalyan, vasai, virar & around locations are preferred or those who are ready to relocate Wada(Kudus) location.
