Production Head

Job Summary:

The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process within the capacitor manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record of success in achieving production targets while maintaining high quality standards and maximizing efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all production operations:
• Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production progress and identify and resolve any bottlenecks or delays.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources (labor, equipment, materials).
• Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators:
• Provide training and development opportunities
• Motivate and guide the team to achieve production goals
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives:
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards:
• Work closely with the Quality Department to maintain high product quality and minimize defects.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the production process.
• Maintain equipment and machinery:
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs:
• Track and report on key performance indicators such as production output, efficiency, and downtime.
• Develop and implement production budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
• Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or related industry
• Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing production teams
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and production planning techniques
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using production planning and scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems)
