Section Head- Production

Roes & Responsibilities:

• Manpower productivity monitoring, PDCA to improve productivity, Machine Up time & Reduction in adjustment time.
• Sequencing rejection, In house quality verification to check the flow out, Closing of QACR on time & Controlling next process claim at each process Inhouse
• Achieving Glass yield target, Monitoring and controlling yield of 5 worst models, Achieving Process yield target, To achieve power consumption target, Controlling rework due to edge sealing and DNG, Monitoring consumption and reduction in consumption of consumable & Localization trial and implementation
• Achieving safety target for reportable, restricted and man days loss injury, Reducing risk from equipment, Conducting safety audit, Near miss reporting from floor to make it more safe & Safety training to operators.
• Participate in feasibility meeting to check the model feasibility and giving proposal to make the model feasible, To develop the model as per customer plan and time line & To undertake quality maturation activity in new model on time.
• Follow up of TQM ,TPM,ISO 14001 and IATF 16949,ISO50001,OHSAS, Process wise audit and updating the PQC table, 5 S audit and maintaining the level on floor & Suggestion collecting from floor and implementation which are in capacity of production.
• To increase participation in QC circle activities, Skill matrix updating and training for skill up & Operator observance
• Conducting meeting with operator, Conducting weekly section meeting with S/V, Conducting improvement meeting, Co-coordinating project for major activities on floor, Working environment on shop floor, Budgeting and capex approval, Approving leaves of shift s/v process engg. And operator and doing required arrangement & conducting appraisal of process engg, shift s/v and operator.
