Role description : Planning & Procurement of Engineering Material, Project Items & Plant Services. To ensure procurement of Indented Material as per required specification, on right cost in required time period. Finalization of Annual Rate contracts for plant services.

Procurement & Service Contract :

- Float enquiry, comparison of price & specification as per requirement, Negotiation & PO processing after approval.

- Follow up with supplier / transporter for timely supply of material.

- Float enquiry, price comparison for all project related service. Arrange meeting of service provider with concerned users department to finalize scope of work, specification & take rate approval. Prepare service contract & communicate to service provider.

- Follow up with service provider for timely depute manpower / materials.

- To provide material as per required specification on time

- To finalize contractor / services provider as per project requirement

- Review & update status of Purchase requisitions & services related to project requirement

- Timely information to supplier regarding material rejection / any other issue related to documentation and resolve to ensure complete purchasing cycle.

- Ensure timely booking of GRN / Accounting & payment follow up as per credit term.

- To Review pending PR & Pending PO report with users department and reporting manager

- To review pending GRN & pending rejection report with stores department and reporting manager.

- To generate MIS regarding service requirement and development / status

- To educate and ensure suppliers and service contractors to comply with all legal and statutory compliance as per Govt. rules and regulations/ policies.

- Experience in scrap, hazardous & non-hazardous materials.

- AMC of various contracts related to maintenance, admin services etc.

- To find alternative sources and reduce the procurement cost, develop new competent service provider, streamline work processes for the section, To follow the SOP's and standard documents.
