Job Description

Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Sales Training will support the development and execution of sales training programs for the Justdial sales team. This role is responsible for onboarding new sales recruits, delivering training sessions, tracking progress, and continuously improving the effectiveness of the training program to enhance the teams sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Training Program Development:
    Assist in creating and updating training materials for the sales team, ensuring alignment with Justdial's offerings, sales processes, and tools.
  • Training Delivery & Facilitation:
    Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training sessions for new and existing sales team members, including product knowledge, sales strategies, and CRM system usage.
  • Performance Monitoring & Feedback:
    Track the progress and performance of sales representatives, providing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous development.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify areas for improvement within the sales process and provide tailored training to address performance gaps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure training programs align with current campaigns, product updates, and customer needs.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, and progress reports. Regularly report training outcomes to senior management for continuous program improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on training, team leadership, or sales enablement.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and lead management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
