SCM Head - Manager/Senior manager- BU3- JBM Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to procure materials and components essential for two-wheeler welding operations. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of supplies. Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery or quality.

• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production needs. Implement systems to monitor stock levels, anticipate demand, and minimize excess inventory.

• Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and distribution of finished products. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the SCM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

• Cost Management: Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or efficiency. Achieve cost savings by negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors. 

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
