Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Attend daily KYT meetings & coordinate with a reliever.
• Carry out visual inspection & customer touch point inspections as per the requirements.
• Maintain log book for each activity (visual & CTQ)
• Record traceability data where required.
• Conduct dock audits & maintain records.
• Line inspection/setup approvals to be done as per the guidelines form higher authority.
• Ensure usage of calibrated /inspected gauges, instruments, latest Drawing, Jigs &Fixtures etc.
• Verification of First & Last piece approval & control charts.
• Manpower planning for online and offline inspection
• Inspectors skill enhancement through continuous training and development, Develop multi skills Verification of 4M abnormalities
• Analysis of quality problems of Finished products & processes which affect the quality and involve the concerned department.
• Inspector's skill enhancement through continuous training and development, Develop multi skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in a similar role within the auto components industry.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  
• Strong understanding of 7QC tools, 8D principles, in-house quality systems, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
