Job Description: Quality Engineer or Senior Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that products meet specified standards and customer requirements
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to identify any defects or deviations from quality standards
- Collaborate with CFT to identify and resolve quality issues
- Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in quality engineering or a related role
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems/IATF16949
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools and methodologies such as 7QC Tools, SPC
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

They are responsible for overseeing the quality management process, implementing quality standards to carrying out inspections and audits. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Implementing quality standards: A quality engineer is responsible for establishing and implementing quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure that products and services meet the required quality standards. They work closely with the production and engineering teams to implement quality assurance processes and procedures.

2. Performing inspections and audits: Quality engineers conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any defects or non-conformities in the products or processes. They examine product samples and perform tests to determine their quality and reliability. They also audit the production processes to ensure they comply with the quality standards and regulations.

3. Analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement: Quality engineers analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. They use statistical analysis and other quality tools to assess the performance of products and processes and recommend corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.

4. Leading quality improvement initiatives: Quality engineers lead quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance product quality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in quality management.

5. Investigating and resolving quality issues: When quality issues arise, quality engineers investigate the root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to address the issues. They work closely with the relevant teams to resolve quality-related problems and prevent recurrence.
