We are hiring for HRBP with 6+ years of experience.

Location: Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore.


Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Performance Manager / Performance Assessment Manager to lead our organizations performance management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and development plans. This role will ensure that individual and team goals are aligned with the overall business objectives and that continuous improvement processes are in place.

The role will also require working closely with department heads, HR, and leadership to drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and employee engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Performance Management Framework: Develop and execute performance management strategies, including setting KPIs/KRAs, conducting performance appraisals, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  2. Performance Appraisal Process: Manage periodic performance reviews (quarterly, bi-annual, or annual), ensuring they are fair, consistent, and transparent across all departments.
  3. Continuous Feedback and Coaching: Facilitate a culture of continuous feedback, helping managers and employees engage in ongoing performance conversations and development.
  4. KPI/KRA Alignment: Collaborate with department heads and leadership to set realistic and challenging KPIs/KRAs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  5. Performance Improvement Plans (PIP): Identify performance gaps and work with team leaders to develop and implement effective Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
  6. Data-Driven Performance Insights: Track, analyze, and present performance data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and high-potential employees. Utilize these insights to drive employee performance and organizational growth.
  7. Employee Development: Collaborate with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to create and implement development programs based on the outcomes of performance evaluations.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Employee Engagement & Retention: Assist in creating and implementing strategies to foster a high-performance culture and improve employee retention.

2. Succession Planning & Talent Development: Collaborate with leadership to identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans for key roles while conducting talent reviews to ensure effective talent utilization.

3. HR Policy & Performance Management: Contribute to refining HR policies related to performance management, employee development, and feedback, while managing performance software and ensuring accurate tracking of metrics.

4. Reporting & Analytics: Prepare reports on performance outcomes, engagement levels, and employee growth for leadership, optimizing systems to enhance reporting and tracking.

Good to Have Skills:

  1. HR Analytics Knowledge: Experience in utilizing HR analytics platforms to gather performance data and draw insights.
  2. Change Management: Understanding of how to manage change in an organization and align performance management processes during transitions or transformations.
  3. Leadership Development Experience: Experience working on leadership development programs or coaching senior management on performance strategies.
  4. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Exposure to working with LMS or other talent management platforms.
  5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working with multiple departments, including tech, sales, and marketing teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Management, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP, CIPD, or HRBP certifications are a plus.
  2. Experience:
    • 5-8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on performance management, talent development, or employee engagement.
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing performance management systems and frameworks in a medium to large-scale organization.
  3. Core Skills:
    • Performance Management: Expertise in developing and managing performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, and continuous feedback.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into actionable insights for leadership and department heads.
    • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with employees at all levels.
    • Employee Engagement: Strong understanding of strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
    • Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple performance initiatives and programs simultaneously.
    • Feedback and Coaching: Experience in guiding and coaching employees and managers on performance improvement strategies.
  4. Tech Skills:
    • Proficiency in performance management tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, BambooHR, or similar HRIS platforms.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, along with experience in creating performance dashboards.
