Power BI Developer - ETL/PL-SQL (7-9 yrs)

Designation : Power BI Developer.

Skills : Power BI + ETL + PL/SQL mandate.

Experience : 7+ years.

Location : Onsite (Gurugram).

Notice Period : Strictly Immediate Joiner (7-15 days max).

Mandate Skillsets : Power BI + ETL + PL/SQL.

Job Description :

- Plan and coordinate security measures to ensure data integrity and maximize database efficiency.

- Define indexes for tables.

- Able to convert MSSQL table schema to XSD format.

Required :

- Manage schema properties.

- Developing data processing and ETL components on distributed database systems.

- Developing database application schemas for business intelligence applications.

- Developing scripting to support the production operation of data processing applications.

- Design logical and physical databases or review description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics such as location, amount of space, and access method).

- Development and programming in PL/SQL technology.

- Design and develop multiple reporting applications.

- Design, develop and implement ETL processes to update the data warehouse.

- Experienced in the Development and support of Java Web Applications and services as specified by our business partners.

- Exposure to powerhouse or any other 4GL language, core Java is an added advantage.

- Be the go-to expert for Oracle and PL/SQL.

- Participate in coding and enhancements.

- Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load.

- Support daily business operations related systems.

- Run systems manually (test files, re-runs, ) for exception cases.

- Development and support Applications and services as specified by our business partners.

- Use research, proof of concept, spike testing, to drive technology roadmap and make technology recommendations.

ETL Developer :

- Proficiency in SQL programming and the ability to write complex SQL queries.

- Proficiency in one or more ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or DataStage.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

- Expertise in data profiling, data analysis, and data quality.

- Familiarity with database systems and computer networks.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.

Power BI Experience :

- Report and Dashboard Design : Assist in creating basic reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

- Help in designing layouts and adding visual elements like charts, tables, and filters.

- Data Visualization : Assist in selecting appropriate visualizations for data presentation and formatting visuals for clarity and aesthetics.

- Data Integration : Assist in integrating data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

- Data Validation : Help validate data against predefined business rules and ensure data quality.

- Documentation : Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and data transformation processes.
