We are seeking ambitious and skilled US IT Recruiters to join our growing team in India.
Position Overview:
As a US IT Recruiter at Horizontal Talent, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and placing highly qualified IT professionals with our clients across the United States.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing to offer negotiation, while utilizing both traditional recruitment methods and innovative AI-powered tools.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop your expertise in US IT recruitment, and contribute to the success of our clients and candidates.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Proactively source, screen, and qualify candidates for a variety of IT positions in the US market, utilizing various recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, job boards, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and other relevant resources.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, coordinating client interviews, offer negotiation, and placement.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Conduct thorough candidate interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Candidate Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their career goals and aspirations.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Act as a consultant to candidates, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience.
Market Understanding:
- Stay up-to-date on the US IT job market, including industry trends, emerging technologies, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape.
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and the specific skills needed for each role.
- Proactively identify and analyze market trends to anticipate future talent needs.
AI Integration:
- Embrace and leverage AI-based tools and technologies for candidate sourcing, engagement, assessment, and other recruitment related tasks.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new AI-powered recruitment tools and methodologies.
- Actively participate in training and development programs focused on AI in recruitment.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all client-specific requirements and compliance with US labor laws, visa regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-6 years of proven experience in US IT recruitment, preferably with experience supporting fast-paced clients and high-volume recruitment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and skill sets (e.g, Java, .NET, Cloud Technologies, DevOps, Data Science, Cybersecurity, etc.) or Functional and creative roles (e.g, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, etc.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, clients, and colleagues.
- Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM systems, and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, and other relevant platforms.
- Experience with AI-powered recruitment tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and other generative AI tools is desirable.
- Adaptability: A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including AI-based tools and methodologies.
- Work Hours: Flexibility to work in US time zones.
Education: Bachelor's/ master's degree in a related field preferred
