Solution Architect - Security Domain (10-15 yrs)

Job Description / Key Responsibilities :

Understand Existing Architecture :

- Analyze and comprehend the architecture of the system, including mobile, backend, applications, digital microservices, infrastructure, and security components.

Business Requirements & Solution Design :

- Understand the business requirements and the potential value addition. Conduct a thorough solution analysis and draft a Solution Design Document that aligns with business needs.

Traceability Matrix :

- Develop and convey a traceability matrix that outlines the correlation between requirements and the solution, highlighting application change summaries and identifying capability gaps.

Data Modeling :

- Draft and design Data Models for the proposed requirement, change, or solution, ensuring that the data structure supports the intended application functionality.

Communicate Effort vs. Value :

- Assess the value addition against the effort required for IT enhancements. If the value addition is less than the effort, effectively communicate this to the Product Owner (PO), Delivery Manager, and Business teams.

Enterprise Architecture Review :

- If there is no existing enterprise architecture for a given feature, initiate an Enterprise Architecture Review. Present the architecture to the Architecture Review Board and seek approval.

Technology & Security Risk Assessment :

- Participate in Technology Risk Assessment and Security Assessments. Review identified risks, challenge or accept them, and justify the necessary mitigations to ensure the solution is secure and sustainable.

Infrastructure Security Diagram :

- Design and illustrate an Infrastructure Security Diagram to highlight the required changes or needs for the Datacenter, Firewall, Port configurations, F5, WAF, Dataguard, 2WAYSSL, Strong Ciphers, and TLS 1.2+ configurations.

API Changes & Sequence Diagram :

- When introducing new APIs or enhancing existing APIs, create Sequence Diagrams to illustrate the flow of API calls and interactions between different system components.

Solution Requirements for Monitoring and Alerts :

- Clearly define and communicate the solution requirements for Application Monitoring, Alerts, and Business-As-Usual (BAU) Support, focusing on E2E correlation IDs for troubleshooting.

Solution Implementation & Downtime Planning :

- Review the solution design in the context of Implementation Downtime, PCIDSS, GDPR, General Cloud Security, Infra Capacity Planning, IT Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Performance Optimization.

Technology Proof of Concept (POC) :

- Lead and drive the Proof of Concept (POC) for any technology feature that is not currently supported by the existing infrastructure or architecture.

Solution Architect & Delivery Coordination :

- This role combines Solution Architecture and Delivery Coordination. Provide assistance in driving the delivery of solutions while ensuring alignment with the architecture.

Support SIT Reviews & Infra Security Coordination :

- Assist the Delivery Manager with System Integration Testing (SIT) result reviews, and coordinate with the Infrastructure Security Change Requests (CR).

Define MVP Scope :

- Assist Delivery Managers and Product Owners in clearly defining the scope of work for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), ensuring clarity on priorities and deliverables.
