🔹 Role Overview

We are seeking an SCM Lead Vendor Management & Contract Execution to oversee procurement, vendor service contracts, and supply chain operations for the Jal Jeevan Mission project. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth execution of drinking water infrastructure projects, including surface water projects and overhead tanks, while optimizing cost, quality, and timelines.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Vendor Management & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, ensuring seamless execution of contracts.
✔️ Service Contract Execution: Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with project timelines.
✔️ Supply Chain Operations: Oversee procurement, material sourcing, and logistics for drinking water infrastructure.
✔️ Cost & Quality Optimization: Ensure efficient procurement strategies while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
✔️ Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Monitor vendor performance, resolve supply chain bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to government regulations.
✔️ Inventory & Logistics Management: Implement best practices for procurement, warehousing, and supply chain efficiency.

🔹 Requirements

✅ 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) within water infrastructure or related projects.
✅ Strong expertise in vendor management, contract execution, and procurement.
✅ Hands-on experience with surface water projects, overhead tanks, and drinking water supply systems.
✅ Familiarity with government regulations, public procurement processes, and compliance standards.
✅ Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
