Vendor Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

Lead and mentor the vendor accounting team to ensure efficient performance and goal achievement

- Foster positive relationships with vendors, support in negotiating contracts and terms to optimize pricing and service levels

- Oversee accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, adhering to company policies and standards

- Support in streamlined payment processing to ensure timely payments while maximizing working capital efficiency

- Establish and enforce robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud

- Analyze vendor expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide insights for strategic decision-making

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies related to vendor transactions

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in vendor accounting operations

- Lead the team for vendor queries resolution and ensure the queries are resolved within defined timeline.
