Manufacturing Operations Engineer ( Electronics )

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for supporting EMS, BLT & FATP activities of FWA CPE & Transport Router products by understanding, implementing, maintaining & improving manufacturing setups to get more productivity. You will also be responsible for proposing new manufacturing setups.

Responsibilities:

• Work involves understanding, implementing, maintaining, improving, manufacturing setups for 5G FWA CPE & Transport Router Products.
• Monitoring EMS related issues and reporting it to manufacturing team on daily basis. Finding RCA for the EMS issues and suggesting improvement in the EMS processes
• Monitoring BLT/FATP/ Manufacturing related issues, documenting them & reporting them to manufacturing team on daily basis.
• Finding RCA for the BLT/FATP/Manufacturing issues and suggesting improvements in the BLT/FATP/Manufacturing process
• Candidate need to work with other team members on either of EMS,BLT or FATP or all these setups as per the manufacturing needs.
• Reporting all status to Manufacturing operation lead, escalating critical issues, and seeking guidance on these issues
• Regular coordination with R&D and Production teams.
• Ensure that manufacturing setups are working 24 x 7 with minimal downtime.
• Understanding working of test equipment, reporting any issue & getting it repaired on time from supplier
• To ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) is maintained for all manufacturing setups and track test equipment licenses, raising alerts in advance to enable immediate action and ensure uninterrupted 24x7 operations.
• Ensuring storage of all production data / statistics on storage media and reporting it to management on daily basis
• Learning software scripts to have better understanding of manufacturing setups.
• Coordinating script modifications, managing versions, and maintaining a change list across versions in collaboration with our external development partner.
• Learning of the specific product functionality to contribute to improvements of the testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
• 1-4 years of experience in manufacturing operations like EMS, BLT, FATP.
• Practical experience in Pick & Place PCB assembly, Handling of Test Fixtures, PCs with USB2.0/3.0, Ethernet interfaces, Handling of RF test equipment, Power supply etc at BLT & FATP
• Experience of working in Telecom / Networking domain
• Should be flexible to work in any shift.
• Should be proficient in Microsoft tools for report generation and Manufacturing progress tracking.
• Experience in manufacturing of FWA CPE, Transport Routers is added advantage
• Proven track record in handling situation to keep test setups running 24 x 7.
• Excellent communication and written skill
• Self-motivated and organized.
