The Company is focused on serving new high growth opportunities in Railways, Homeland Security, Smart Cities and Defence. Government’s initiatives such as Railway Modernization, Defence Self-Sufficiency, Digital Security, Make in India, Smart Cities etc. have helped accelerate HFCL’s Growth. In the recent times, HFCL is spreading its business spectrum by adding manufacturing of Defence Gears and turnkey installation of Communication and Signaling Network for Railways.

HFCL Consortium Secures Rs 13,000 Crore Contract For BharatNet Phase 3 Project
- HFCL Ltd and its consortium partners have been declared the lowest bidder for optical fibre-based broadband network projects worth Rs 13,000 crore under BharatNet Phase III for UP East, UP West, and Punjab circles.
- HFCL-Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)-Aerial Telecom Solutions Private Limited consortium will be awarded 10 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) order with an annual rate of 5.5% of capex for the first five years and 6.5% for the subsequent five years.
- HFCL has emerged as the top bidder for Punjab circle for a bid value of Rs 1,244 crores in the BharatNet phase III tenders.
- The BharatNet Phase III aims to deliver high-speed internet to all 6.4 lakh villages in India, with a minimum of 100 Mbps bandwidth at each GP, connecting over 250,000 gram panchayats.

RVNL-Led Consortium Emerges Lowest Bidder For BSNL Project Worth Over Rs 5,000 Crore
- RVNL-Led Consortium, comprising Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, HFCL Ltd, and Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt., emerges as the lowest bidder for the BSNL project worth over Rs 5,000 Crore.
- The project involves the development, operation, and maintenance of the middle mile network of Bharat Net.
- The construction work is to be completed within three years, and the maintenance contract will span over a 10-year period.
- Additionally, RVNL has also won a construction project worth Rs 613 crore from Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd.
