Senior Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing (9-11 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer with 9-11 years of experience to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, a deep understanding of software development processes, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality before they reach our customers.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for software applications.

- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the software meets quality standards.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand features and ensure quality from the initial stages of development.

- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new features or changes.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on quality and testability of code.

- Analyze test results and produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

- Mentor junior test engineers and provide guidance on best practices in testing.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 9-11 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automated testing frameworks.

- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
