Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will spearhead client acquisition and relationship management in the Australian market, contributing to the growth of Global FPO's client base. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning Global FPO as a preferred outsourcing partner for accounting, tax preparation, and bookkeeping services. The BDM will work collaboratively with internal teams to design customized solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with their unique needs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue, strong market intelligence in the Australian accounting and financial services landscape, and excellent interpersonal skills. This position is pivotal in strengthening Global FPOs footprint in Australia and requires a self-motivated professional with strategic acumen and result-oriented thinking.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate the Australian accounting and finance market.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals with accounting and CPA firms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Represent Global FPO at industry events and conferences in the Australian region.
  • Provide market feedback to senior leadership to refine offerings and strategies.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales forecasts and progress reports.
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with regional laws and regulations while conducting business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development with a minimum of 6 years in sales or client management roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in or targeting the Australian market.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of outsourcing services, particularly in accounting and finance.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; an Australian accent is an advantage.
  • University degree: MBA in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Certifications in sales or marketing are a plus.

Nothing, they ruined my two months and put me on PIP after first month I mean who does that, they didn't even wait for the probation to end.any company good or bad will at least give you 2 to 3 months of time to see your performance, they gave 1 after one month of joining I was on PIP while being on probation.
