Job Description
Work as SME for Catastrophe modelling to ensure appropriate business solution is identified, developed and delivered as per clients business requirements.
Build and implement solutions with AI and Machine Learning embedded for Insurance industry use cases
Act as the primary point of contact for client engagements, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Identify and pursue opportunities for account mining and revenue growth within existing engagements by developing & presenting proactive proposals. Handle risks and issues related to the accounts, including delivery oversight ensuring there is strong governance in place Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and clients. Experience in handling client engagement, team management, talent development & retention, white papers and other thought leadership related activities
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT & Analytics services for some key clients, ensuring projects meet client expectations in terms of quality, timeline, and budget. Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, etc.).
Extensive experience in catastrophe modeling within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
Strong proficiency in catastrophe modeling software (e.g., RMS, AIR, or similar).
Experience and exposure to AI/ML
Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams and managing onshore and offshore teams.
Experience in IT service delivery and client engagement, with a strong focus on managing large-scale projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. .
Excellent presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to overall business strategy based on catastrophe risk insights.
MBA/ Post Graduation
Professional certifications (e.g., AINS, CPCU, ARE, etc.).
Strong hold on MS Office Excel, Access, Power Point, VBA
Familiarity with catastrophe modeling software and industry-standard tools.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R would be an advantage
Hands on experience with AI/ ML
Strong expertise in managing large IT programs
Prior experience in P&C insurance industry and high level understanding of L&A insurance industry
Expertise in account mining and business development within existing client engagements.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on proactive issue resolution.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
