Job Summary:
We are looking for a Statutory & Labour Compliance Specialist to oversee and manage all labour law and statutory compliance requirements across India. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to all regulatory frameworks, mitigate compliance risks, and maintain seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory & Labour Compliance Management:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations such as EPF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Shops & Establishments Act, CLRA Act, and Industrial Disputes Act.
• Regularly track changes in labour laws, new regulations, government notifications and statutory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses, registrations, and statutory approvals for PAN-India operations.
• Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to identify gaps and ensure adherence to statutory obligations.
• Liaise with labour authorities, government bodies, and regulatory agencies for inspections, filings, and queries.

1. Vendor Compliance & Third-Party Contractors:
• Ensure third-party contractors and outsourced vendors comply with statutory requirements, including contract labour laws and due diligence.
• Conduct vendor audits and compliance checks to mitigate risks related to labour law violations.
• Verify submission of compliance documents such as PF/ESI challans, wage registers, and statutory remittances from vendors.

1. Audits, Inspections & Risk Mitigation:
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate compliance-related risks.
• Prepare for statutory audits, government inspections, and labour law assessments.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for compliance tracking.
• Respond to audit queries and resolve compliance-related issues proactively.
• Assist in handling labour disputes and employee grievances

1. Policy Formulation & Compliance Awareness:
• Develop and implement labour law policies, SOPs, and compliance checklists for smooth operations.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for HR, payroll, and business teams on compliance best practices.
• Ensure policies are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1. MBA/PGD in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations
2. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in handling labour law compliance, statutory filings, and payroll-related regulations.
3. Strong knowledge of PAN-India compliance requirements across multiple states.
4. Experience in interacting with government authorities, labour inspectors, and regulatory bodies.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders, audits, and inspections efficiently.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
