Job Title: Key Account Manager - E-Commerce
Location: Ahmedabad, India
Experience: 7-8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce sales and key account management.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Account Manager to lead and expand our business on major e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and have a proven track record of managing key accounts such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Swiggy, Blinkit, and Zepto. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, and building strong relationships with our e-commerce partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of navigating the fast-paced and competitive e commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management & Sales Growth:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets across all assigned e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.)
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities through promotions, marketing campaigns, and optimization of product listings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at each e-commerce platform.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve sales and profitability.
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including pricing, promotions, and marketing budgets.
Order Fulfillment & Operational Excellence:
- Manage the entire Purchase Order (PO) process from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, warehouse, customer service) to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure product availability on all platforms.
- Resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to each platform's operational guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
Data Analysis & Performance Reporting:
- Utilize platform analytics and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer reviews.
- Analyze competitor performance, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for management.
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities.
Stakeholder Coordination & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal marketing, product, and supply chain teams to align e-commerce strategies with overall business objectives.
- Work closely with platform account managers to maximize visibility and sales.
- Provide feedback and insights to product development teams to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure clear and effective communication across all stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-8 years of proven experience in e-commerce sales and key account management.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience managing key accounts on major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Swiggy, Blinkit, and Zepto.
- PO Management: Strong understanding of PO processing, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Target-Driven: Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving KPIs.
- E-commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, including marketplace dynamics, customer behavior, and digital marketing.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using e-commerce platform tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA in Business Administration or a related field.
