About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Architect with a deep understanding of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes and platforms, specifically Conga CPQ and Salesforce CPQ, to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex CPQ solutions.

You will play a critical role in shaping our CPQ strategy and ensuring its alignment with business objectives.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor other team members.

Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable and robust CPQ solutions using Conga CPQ and Salesforce CPQ.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

- Define and enforce best practices for CPQ implementation, customization, and maintenance.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate CPQ tools and technologies.

- Design and implement integrations between CPQ systems and other enterprise applications (e., CRM, ERP).

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.

CPQ Implementation & Customization :

- Oversee the implementation and customization of Conga CPQ and Salesforce CPQ.

- Configure and customize CPQ functionalities, including product configuration, pricing rules, quoting workflows, and approval processes.

- Develop custom CPQ extensions and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant technologies.

- Ensure the quality and performance of CPQ solutions through rigorous testing and validation.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to CPQ development teams.

- Mentor and coach junior developers on CPQ best practices and technologies.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Project Management & Stakeholder Management :

- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of CPQ solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

- Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest CPQ trends and technologies.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing CPQ solutions and processes.

- Research and evaluate new CPQ tools and technologies.

- Contribute to the development of CPQ best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 11+ years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on CPQ implementations.

- Extensive experience with Conga CPQ and Salesforce CPQ platforms.

- Deep understanding of CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, and order management.

- Strong technical skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant Salesforce technologies.

- Experience with integrating CPQ systems with other enterprise applications (e. , CRM, ERP).

- Excellent understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Salesforce CPQ certifications (e., Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist).

- Conga CPQ certifications.

- Experience with other CPQ platforms (e., Apttus, Oracle CPQ).

- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms.

- Knowledge of industry best practices for CPQ implementation
