Job Description Summary :

We are seeking a CPQ Technical Lead to own and drive the overall architecture, design, development, and governance of the Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) platform within the Lead-to-Revenue workstream for Software & Service product business lines.

The ideal candidate will promote CPQ best practices, maximize platform investment, scalability, and performance, and leverage the latest Oracle CPQ functionalities to align with business needs.

Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and lead the technical strategy, roadmap, architecture, design, and implementation of Configuration, Pricing, Quoting, and Subscription applications.

- Design CPQ solutions for diverse software/services sales models, including perpetual licenses, subscription revenues, and more.

- Conduct discovery workshops to gather, define, and document current and future state processes, translating business requirements into system functionalities.

- Lead system architecture and cross-platform integration discussions, creating future-state architecture diagrams with stakeholders.

- Develop technical roadmaps, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts for scalable and flexible solutions.

- Conduct technical design sessions, story grooming, and estimation with developers, business analysts, and product owners.

- Review and validate changes to the CPQ production system, ensuring scalability and minimizing technical debt.

- Define and implement API service layers, integration mapping, and technical documentation.

- Identify and address technical debt while implementing solutions to enhance system performance.

- Provide hands-on development for complex modules and technical support during the project lifecycle.

- Evangelize best practices and guide engineering team members through code reviews and periodic training sessions.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

- 7+ years of experience in Quote-to-Invoice solution design and system architecture.

- 3-5 years of experience with multiple CPQ systems (e.g, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Conga).

- 3+ years of experience in delivering subscription and billing solutions with products like Zuora, Recurly, or Oracle.

- 5+ years of experience with integration designs using middleware tools for CPQ.

- Extensive experience configuring products, bundles, pricing, and advanced catalogs in CPQ.

- Proficient in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JSON, React, or Angular JS.

- Knowledge of BOM, ADO, JET UI, and scripting (BML/BMQL).
