About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager to spearhead the growth and development of our global fragrance brands within the dynamic and competitive Indian market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape brand strategy, drive product innovation, and expand market reach across both online and offline channels. You will be responsible for building strong brand equity, optimizing sales performance, and fostering a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning:
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with global brand guidelines and local market insights.
- Define and refine brand positioning, ensuring a clear and compelling brand message.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all markets.
- Develop and manage the brand budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
2. Market Expansion & International Collaboration:
- Work closely with international teams to develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies.
- Identify and evaluate potential distribution partners and retail channels.
- Adapt global brand strategies to suit the specific needs and preferences of the Indian market.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify new growth opportunities.
3. New Product Development (NPD) & Product Innovation:
- Lead the NPD process from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demand.
- Identify emerging fragrance trends and consumer preferences through market research and analysis.
- Collaborate with fragrance houses, suppliers, and internal teams to develop innovative and high-quality products.
- Manage product lifecycle, including product discontinuation and reformulation.
- Conduct thorough product testing and evaluation to ensure quality and performance.
4. E-Commerce & Retail Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth across key e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Nykaa, and Myntra.
- Optimize product listings and content to improve search visibility and conversion rates.
- Manage online promotions and campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience on e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with retail partners to optimize in-store merchandising and promotions.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities to improve retail performance.
5. Marketing & Digital Promotions:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital channels.
- Manage influencer marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to build a strong online presence.
- Create engaging content for websites, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Manage media planning and buying to ensure effective reach and frequency.
- Oversee the development and execution of promotional materials and point-of-sale displays.
6. Performance Tracking & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales data, campaign performance, and category trends.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on brand performance and market insights.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management within the fragrance, beauty, or personal care industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing brand strategies and driving sales growth.
- Strong understanding of international markets and experience in global brand management.
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
- Hands-on experience in new product development and product innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of the Indian consumer market.
