Brand Manager
Job Description:
Management:
- Assume responsibility for brand ownership and develop a comprehensive brand strategy that includes the creation of style guidelines, brand standards, brand vision, and value propositions aimed at achieving both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Translate the brand strategy into a detailed brand plan and a market entry strategy.
- Design and execute communication and media campaigns across oline, online, and social media platforms.
- Develop product positioning through competitor analysis, determining which products to position, and ultimately positioning the products based on the findings.
Product Development Responsibilities:
- Oversee the introduction of new products by conducting market studies, analyzing market share, performing competitor analysis, and launching new products into the market.
- Develop and update product costing and pricing to maintain accurate and proactive insights into customer-wise and SKU-wise contributions for assigned products.
- Conduct product evaluations, reviews, and product empanelment processes.
Consumer and Competitive Behavior Analysis:
- Collect and analyze competitive information by examining pricing, dealer margins, Market Operation Prices (MOP), payouts, and promotional schemes utilized by various competitors.
- Conduct market analysis by gathering competitor information, tracking competitors, performing market share analysis, and interpreting consumer and market trends.
People Management:
- Maintain proactive communication with senior management regarding product performance any significant market or competitive changes.
- Facilitate critical internal collaboration with logistics, manufacturing, sales, and finance departments to assess the feasibility of introducing new products or modifying the existing product portfolio.
Management Information Systems & Commercial Responsibilities:
- Walko Food Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing the performance of the existing product portfolio, competitor activities, desired changes, and more.
- Proactively implement audit guidelines concerning price circulars, scheme communication/approval, credit notes, and monitoring, ensuring proper documentation of these processes.
- Develop comprehensive strategies.
Preferred candidate profile:
- MBA Degree from Reputed Institute
- 9-15 yrs work experience in MNC Food FMCG companies
- Strong communication skills
- Work independently without much supervision
