Job Description
UFT Job description - Exp 1- 2 years.
Primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT and other testing tools, contributing to the overall software development lifecycle.
Key
- Test Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT to validate functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software features and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Test Planning and Strategy Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the overall test strategy and test plans
- Identify areas suitable for automation and provide input into the selection of test cases for automation
- Test Execution Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects, ensuring the software meets quality standards
- Work closely with manual testers to integrate automated tests into the overall testing process
- Defect Reporting and Documentation Document and track defects, providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test scripts, test data, and test results
- Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams, to ensure effective communication and understanding of testing requirements
- Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement in the testing lifecycle and contribute to the implementation of best practices
