Job Description

• Understand and review the product/ platform requirements, specifications, technical desig documents
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans, test scenarios and write test cases based o the requirements
• Work in the areas of Frontend testing, Manual testing, Integration testing, Regression testing and other testing like Smoke, Sanity, Black Box, Grey Box, System, Behavior compatibility
• Perform feature tests based on a thorough understanding of feature requirements and desired behavior with Cross
• Manage bug life cycle starting from bug/ defect (other functional usability issues) identification verification, reporting/ logging, monitoring debugging process, validating fixes and analyzing errors.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of test cases, test phases, bug tracking

Skills Required

• Education – >80% in classes 10 and 12, and >60% in B. Tech/ B.E. (any stream)
• Should have studied the Basic Principles of Software Testing
• In depth knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
• Hands-on experience of Functional & GUI (UI/ UX) testing of mobile/ web/ desktop applications
• Excellent communication, reporting, troubleshooting and testing skill
• Experience on Agile Quality Assurance/ Software testing
• Strong knowledge of QA/ Testing methodologies, test & bug management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Open Project, and industry best practices
• Basic knowledge of Database and SQL queries
• Certification - ISTQB, ICST added advantage
