Assistant/Associate Manager - UI Angular Developer

Data and Analytics team is a multi-disciplinary technology team delivering client projects and solutions across Data Management, Visualization, Business Analytics and Automation. The assignments cover a wide range of countries and industry sectors.

The opportunity

We are looking for Front-End Manager, who will be responsible for developing and delivering rich, highly interactive web applications that engagement teams will use to implement the EY SaT mergers and acquisition methodologies

Your key responsibilities

• Author and review of design specifications; develop, review and unit test code for single page web applications.
• Troubleshoot, isolate and remediate code bugs.
• Work on and manage mid-size projects, and ensure smooth service delivery on assigned products, engagements and/or geographies.
• Work with project managers to study resource needs and gaps and devise alternative ways forward.
• Provide expert reviews for all projects within the assigned subject.

UI Development Assistant/Associate Manager

Work closely with UX designers, graphic designers, and backend developers to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and efficient interfaces.

Responsibilities include the creation of design prototypes and wireframes, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. They also play a pivotal role in validating user input, creating efficient mark-up and coding standards, and maintaining graphical standards and branding throughout the products interface.

Furthermore, a UI Development Manager often works with project managers and other stakeholders to effectively coordinate and direct UI development tasks and projects, ensuring project deadlines are met and aligning the UI design with the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 7-9 years of relevant work experience with a concentration in front end development and demonstrated history of UI/UX sensibilities
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Angular 4+ frameworks with a proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience in working with modern web development tools and technologies such as Node.js, npm, webpack, and Babel.
• Strong understanding of RxJS, state management libraries like NgRx, and their core principles.
• In-depth knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience.
• Proficiency in building responsive web designs with CSS, Flex, and Grid.
• Deep knowledge of web performance optimization, caching, and SEO.
• Knowledge of Angular Universal Server-Side Rendering.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, including Promises, Observables and async/await.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive code reviews, handling pull requests and working on bug fixing as well as improving application performance.
• Knowledge of Angular CLI for creating modules, components, and routing.
• Familiarity with design patterns and software design principles.
• Understanding of secure coding methods and practices.
• Experience with Git and version control methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, SCSS, and Angular Material to design and develop sophisticated UI/UX.
• Proficiency in RESTful API integration, JSON, GraphQL, and websockets.

Good to Have

• Experience with Other Web Development Frameworks like React will be a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies is a bonus.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process is important.

• Willingness to travel extensively and to work on client sites / practice office locations
