Role Overview:

ElasticRun is seeking an experienced Onboarding Specialist to serve as an ambassador to our new hires. The incumbent shall ensure that all the employees are welcomed to the company and well-versed in the organization’s standards and practices before embarking on their new roles. 

• Onboarding Process Management: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, from pre-boarding to joining, ensuring all processes are efficient and provide an outstanding experience for new hires.
• Strategy & Innovation: Proactively introduce and implement innovative onboarding practices and tools to enhance the new hire experience, keeping the process fresh and engaging.
• New Hire Training & Engagement: Design and conduct onboarding sessions and provide guidance to new employees, introducing them to company culture, values, and policies.
• Feedback & Adjustment: Monitor the effectiveness of the onboarding experience, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments as necessary.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met during onboarding, including the completion of necessary forms and processes.
• Project Leadership: Lead HR projects related to onboarding, such as onboarding technology implementation or creating new onboarding programs for different departments.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: Work with the talent acquisition team and other HR members to ensure that new hires receive a well-rounded, coordinated experience.

Job Specification (What Will You Need)

• MBA from a reputed business school. 
• 2 to 6 years of work experience in Onboarding, HR Operations, or related roles.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with new employees and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HR software or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and various onboarding platforms.
• You must have a knack for meeting new people as well as sound knowledge of HR practices to succeed in this role.
