Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Lead to drive lead generation, sales outreach, and pipeline management in the logistics, supply chain, and technology solutions space. This role will play a pivotal part in identifying business opportunities, engaging with prospects, and aligning our solutions with client needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry or SaaS technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify and target new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry using research, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Sales Outreach:
    Engage potential clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to qualify leads, understand their challenges, and schedule meetings or product demonstrations.
  • Sales Qualification:
    Manage inbound lead qualification and outbound lead generation efforts to develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Needs Assessment:
    Collaborate with prospects to understand their logistics challenges and pain points, ensuring our technology solutions (e.g., TMS, WMS, route optimization) meet their business goals.
  • Pipeline Management:
    Track all sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow-ups.
  • Market Research:
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the logistics and supply chain space to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with marketing and field sales teams to ensure seamless communication, customer satisfaction, and a smooth transition from lead to customer onboarding.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking:
    Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and goal achievement to Sales Management.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of inside sales or B2B sales experience.
    • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or SaaS technology sales is preferred.
    • Experience selling to logistics managers, supply chain directors, or IT teams is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries is a significant advantage.
    • Familiarity with logistics technology solutions (e.g., route optimization, fleet management, TMS, WMS, DMS) is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong research and prospecting abilities.
    • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Ability to assess client needs and offer tailored solutions.
    • Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
    • Effective collaboration with marketing and field sales teams.
