Deputy General Manager - People Business Partner

Define & deploy the HR strategy & transformational people agenda for all the Warehouses/ Offices across Contract Logistics & Cold Chain BU.
Design and implement forward-thinking HR solutions and programs to help businesses attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce.
Partner with other HR Business Partners to ensure cross-utilization of information and projects.
Drive the HR agenda within the Contract Logistics & Cold Chain BU s through People Managers, ensuring that all people managers are equipped and able to deliver the annual recurring people management requirements.
Work with the leadership team to establish people agenda which underpins and supports the delivery of business goals and drives employee engagement.
Participate in the development and implementation of human resources processes and programs, including but not limited to assimilation of new employees, performance management, organizational development, employee recognition, learning and development and the annual talent and compensation review process.
Propose strategic changes and channelize change management within the organization basis regular focus group sessions, one on one and skip level meetings.
Conduct dipstick surveys across CL & CC to understand the pulse of the employees and construct action plans to address concerns.
Counsel managers and staff on development opportunities, career mobility and advancement, as well as organizational development, training, compensation, and programs to support corporate initiatives.
Identify training needs and coordinate with the L&D team for construction of appropriate modules.
Plan Location wise manpower requirement to match strategic plans of the company, assist to recruit best talents on time, to ensure efficient and productive use of the company s manpower in alignment with dynamics of business requirement.
Drive internal & external stakeholder management
Ensure timely redressal of employees grievances and compliances with all applicable laws.
Carry out routine management of employee issues including disciplinary matters, grievance handling, change management and counselling.
Support the business in rolling out new warehouses right from site due diligence to ensure seamless HR support during the Go Live.
Frequently travel to various warehouse locations to engage with teams and address on ground challenges.
Proactively resolve HR-related concerns from a customer-centric perspective at warehouses.
Provide support and assistance during internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring compliance with all standards.
Manage end-to-end contract labour management and vendor management, including digitalization of contract manpower attendance and payroll processes through CLMS, and ensure quarterly vendor audits.
Any other responsibility/ task; not limited to the above-mentioned tasks, that may be assigned from time to time in view of the job requirements
