About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Training Head to design and lead training and development initiatives for a rapidly growing housing finance company.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing and implementing training programs across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving workforce excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Strategy and Development:
- Design and implement the organization's learning and development strategy in line with business goals.
- Identify training needs across departments through skills assessments, feedback, and business priorities.
- Develop a comprehensive training calendar, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Program Design and Execution:
- Create innovative and impactful training programs, including product knowledge, sales, customer service, compliance, and leadership development.
- Deploy a mix of training methodologies, such as classroom sessions, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Customize training content for diverse teams, including sales, operations, credit, and customer service.
Leadership Development:
- Develop programs for leadership and managerial skills enhancement to nurture future leaders.
- Conduct competency mapping and create a succession planning framework to support organizational growth.
Team Management:
- Build and lead a national training team to deliver training programs effectively across multiple locations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to regional training managers and trainers to ensure consistency in delivery.
Performance Measurement:
- Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness and its impact on business outcomes.
- Monitor employee performance post-training and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business heads and HR teams to understand business challenges and align training objectives.
- Partner with external vendors and trainers for specialized training programs as required.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the training budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Invest in digital training platforms and tools to enhance learning delivery and accessibility.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree, preferably in Human Resources, Training & Development
- 16-20 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the housing finance, banking, or financial services sector.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing large-scale training programs across multiple regions.
- Excellent knowledge of training tools, e-learning platforms, and modern instructional design techniques.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and enhance training ROI.
