We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Training and Development to lead our learning and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
Program Design and Delivery:
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars that address identified needs.
- Utilize a variety of training methods, including e-learning, classroom training, and on-the-job training.
Leadership Development:
- Create and implement leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to high-potential employees and emerging leaders.
Performance Management:
- Collaborate with HR and management to integrate training and development initiatives with performance management processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the training and development team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the training and development budget.
- Ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs and initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support training and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure training programs meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and training software.
