Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Department: Production

Location: Factory/Manufacturing Unit

Reports To: Production Supervisor/Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to cut, shape, and finish materials such as wood, plastic, metal, or composite materials used in interior production.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to ensure accuracy in production.

Load raw materials and perform routine machine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.

Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure adherence to production standards and tolerances.

Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and adjust machine settings as necessary.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to prevent delays in production.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Collaborate with the design and production team to optimize workflows and meet production deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in the interior design or furniture manufacturing sector.

Proficiency in operating CNC machines (e.g., routers, mills) and software like AutoCAD or CAM programs.

Strong attention to detail and understanding of material properties and machining processes.

Knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
