Job Title: Panel Saw Machine Operator

Department: Production

Location: Factory/Manufacturing Unit

Reports To: Production Supervisor/Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Operate panel saw machines to cut large wood panels, laminates, or other materials used in furniture or interior product manufacturing.

Interpret cutting plans, production schedules, and material specifications to prepare panels accurately.

Measure and mark dimensions on materials for precise cutting, ensuring minimal waste.

Set up machines, adjust saw blades, and control panel saw settings for different material types and thicknesses.

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.

Ensure all cuts meet quality standards and conduct quality checks on finished pieces.

Organize and manage inventory of panels and offcuts, ensuring efficient material utilization.

Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training preferred.

1-3 years of experience operating panel saw machines in a production environment.

Strong understanding of panel sizing, cutting techniques, and material handling.

Ability to read blueprints and cutting instructions.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
