Job Title: Proposal Writer

Location: Hyderabad(Onsite)

Shift timing: 7PM-4AM IST (Night Shift)

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 2-6 years of experience in proposal writing, ideally with exposure to government-issued RFPs.
• Familiarity with US federal, state, or local government procurement processes preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with proposal management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, or proposal software) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Development:

a. Assist in analyzing and interpreting government-issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other solicitation documents.

b. Contribute to the development of compliant, compelling, and professional responses to RFPs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.

c. Draft, edit, and format proposal sections, including executive summaries, technical responses, and resumes, under guidance from senior team members.

2. Document Management:

a. Organize and maintain proposal documentation, ensuring version control and adherence to deadlines.

b. Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders such as subject matter experts, technical teams, and business units.

3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

a. Ensure proposals meet all compliance and formatting requirements outlined in the solicitation.

b. Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of proposal content.

4. Research and Analysis:

a. Conduct background research on government agencies, competitors, and industry trends to strengthen proposal content.

b. Analyze past solicitation documents to identify trends and improve future submissions.

5. Collaboration and Coordination:

a. Support proposal kickoff meetings, strategy sessions, and status reviews to ensure timely progress on deliverables.

b. Liaise with the Proposal Manager to develop proposal schedules, outlines, and responsibilities.

6. Continuous Improvement:

a. Update and maintain content libraries, templates, and boilerplate materials.

b. Participate in post-submission debriefs and lessons-learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
