RFP Writer - US

Key Responsibilities:

1. RFP Identification & Management:
   
• Proactively monitor and identify RFP opportunities released by state and federal agencies.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive pipeline of active and upcoming RFPs.
• Enroll in and manage multiple RFP portals to ensure timely access to opportunities.
2. Documentation & Submission:
   
• Draft, edit, and complete all required documentation for RFP submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary input for RFP responses.
• Review and proofread RFP documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Submit completed proposals through required channels before deadlines.
3. Relationship Building & Communication:
   
• Proactively communicate with RFP managers to clarify requirements, address questions, and establish strong relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all RFP-related inquiries and follow-ups.
4. Process Improvement:
   
• Continuously refine the RFP process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain templates and documentation standards to streamline future submissions.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
   
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on proposal content and strategy.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on RFP activities, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting RFPs, especially to state and federal clients.
• Familiarity with RFP portals and procurement processes.
• Skills:
  
• Exceptional documentation, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proactive communication and relationship-building skills.
• Technical Proficiency:
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and RFP portal platforms.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems as needed.
• Other Requirements:
  
• Ability to work in the EST time zone.
• Open to a hybrid working arrangement; remote flexibility available for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with government RFPs.
• Familiarity with proposal automation tools or software.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards related to government procurement.
