SAP EWM Functional Consultant - Implementation & Configuration (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Conduct workshops and interviews with business users to gather and document functional requirements related to warehouse management processes.

- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement using SAP EWM.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical designs.

- Configure SAP EWM modules, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, physical inventory, and RF framework.

- Design and configure warehouse layouts, storage types, storage sections, and bins.

- Configure and test integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems.

- Develop and execute test plans and scenarios for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Perform cutover activities.

- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM issues.

- Resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP EWM functionality.

- Perform system monitoring and performance tuning.

- Create and maintain documentation for SAP EWM configurations and processes.

- Provide user training.

- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.

- Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies for SAP EWM implementation.

- Analyze and optimize warehouse logistics processes using best practices and SAP EWM capabilities.

- Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an SAP EWM Functional Consultant.

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM modules and processes.

- Hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation.

- Experience with RF framework configuration and mobile data entry.

- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).

- Experience in handling warehouse process like Inbound, Outbound, Internal warehouse movements, physical inventory, Yard Management etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is a plus.

- Good documentation skills.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Additional Requirements :

- Must be willing to work in Jaghadia, Gujarat or Pune.

- Must be able to join within the specified notice period (Immediate to 30 days).

- Must be able to work general shift.
