Job Title: API Automation with Selenium.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team, specializing in Selenium and API automation.

Experience on mobile test automation using the Appium suite is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web automation using Selenium WebDriver.

- Develop and maintain scripts for API automation using postman/newman, pytest+requests etc.

- Design and execute test cases for mobile applications using Appium.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide automation solutions.

- Identify, report, and track defects in the system.

- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.

- Participate in the development and implementation of test strategies.

- Execute performance testing and report results.

- Provide detailed documentation and reports on test cases, issues, and resolutions.

- Maintain and update automation test suites to ensure reliability and scalability.

- Contribute to and maintain reusable test data, mock services, and environments.

- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in test automation.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of Test automation using Selenium.

- Strong knowledge of API automation using Postman/Newman, pytest+requests etc.

- Strong knowledge of the Postman tool.

- Proficient in the use if IDEs like Eclipse.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Javascript or Python.

- Good understanding of OOPS concepts.

- Knowledge of frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), or Pytest.

- Strong grasp of XPath, CSS selectors, DOM structure.

- Hands-on with Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing.

- JSON/XML parsing, schema validation, status code and header checks.

- Good understanding of the REST paradigm.

- Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols methods, status codes, headers, cookies.

- Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT tokens, and API authentication flows.

- Experience in mobile automation using Appium.

- Profiency in more than one programming language is an advantage.

- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
