SAP SCM/TM Consultant - Support & Implementation (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP SCM TM Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, building, and implementing SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Event Management (EM) solutions.

You will play a crucial role in delivering successful TM and EM implementations, leveraging your strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a proven track record of successful implementations, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in all phases of SAP TM and EM implementations, from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation planning, execution, and tracking.

- Design and configure SAP TM and EM solutions to meet specific business needs.

- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.

- Provide expert advice and guidance on SAP TM and EM best practices.

- Collaborate with other SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other modules (e., MM, SD, PP).

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TM and EM configurations and functionality.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP TM and EM functionalities and technologies.

- Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.

Key Requirements :

- Extensive SAP Functional Expertise in Transportation Management (TM) and Event Management (EM) solutions.

- 7-9 years of relevant experience in SAP TM and EM implementations.

- Proven experience in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP TM and EM solutions.

- Strong understanding of transportation processes and logistics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in leading workshops and training sessions.

Good to Have :

- Experience with other SAP modules (e., MM, SD, PP) and integration projects.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA TM.

- Experience with other transportation management systems.

- Certification in SAP TM
