Java Developer - Spring Boot (4-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Microservices Developer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building Java applications, particularly in a microservices architecture.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and efficient back end solutions using Spring Boot.

Experience with REST APIs and MySQL is essential.

Familiarity with React for front-end development is highly preferred, making this a great opportunity for a full-stack developer.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.

- Work with MySQL databases, including database design, writing efficient queries, and performance optimization.

- (Preferred) Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development and microservices architecture.

- Contribute to an Agile development environment.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience in building Java applications, especially in a microservices environment.

- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot framework.

- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency with MySQL database, including database design, querying, and optimization.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills (Full-Stack Capabilities) :

- Proficiency with React for building front-end user interfaces.

- Experience with front-end development tools and technologies (e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Understanding of state management in React (e., Redux, Context API).

- Experience with testing frameworks for React (e., Jest, Enzyme).

Bonus Skills :

- Experience with other cloud platforms (e., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with message queues (e., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
