- The Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our steel plant.
- This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the steel plant.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and specifications.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to the HR Manager and senior leadership.
