Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at ACLPL in Chennai, Maharashtra. As a B2B Sales Specialist in the Transport & Logistics industry, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients in the freight forwarding sector. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in a similar role and possess a proven track record in lead generation, negotiation, and closing sales deals. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and providing solutions that meet customer needs in the transportation and logistics space.
- Identify and generate new leads through market research and cold calling strategies.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize sales potential.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of freight forwarding services to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored logistics solutions for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities and outcomes.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- 4-5 years of B2B sales experience in the transport or logistics sector, specifically freight forwarding.
- Proven track record in lead generation and closing sales deals.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and analyze competitive landscape.
- Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Experience with cold calling and direct shipper market engagement is preferred.
