We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant for our urgent opening in the CA_Logistics industry, located in Mumbai City, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting within the transport and logistics sector. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic team while managing financial operations that support our freight services. Successful candidates will show a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Manage and oversee the financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data to recommend improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditures and variances.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely compliance with tax obligations.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (C.A.) with significant experience in accounting.
- 5 to 15 years of work experience in the transport and logistics industry.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and auditing.
- Strong understanding of accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
