Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive specializing in Ocean/Sea Import operations to join our team in Mumbai City, Maharashtra. As a vital part of our freight and logistics company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering client relationships. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in transportation and logistics, eager to make an immediate impact within our organization.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Ocean/Sea Import sector to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the transport and logistics industry.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights for management review.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices to provide knowledgeable service to clients.
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, specifically in Ocean/Sea Import logistics.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for sales.
- Ability to travel as required to meet client needs.
- A degree or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
