Job Description

Department: Marketing and Communications
Reports To: Head of Marketing/Digital Marketing Manager/ PPC Manager

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Public Relations, or a related field.
    • Additional certification in digital marketing or influencer marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • 4-6 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media management, or influencer and account handling.
    • Proven track record of running successful influencer campaigns, preferably in the education sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) and analytics tools.
    • Knowledge of influencer marketing platforms (e.g., AspireIQ, Upfluence) is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of audience targeting, campaign tracking, and digital advertising trends.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to identify compelling content opportunities.
    • Analytical thinking and ability to interpret campaign data to drive decisions.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Design and implement influencer marketing strategies that align with the institutions goals, such as increasing enrollment or promoting educational programs.
    • Identify relevant influencer niches (e.g., education bloggers, student influencers, career coaches) to target diverse audiences.
  2. Influencer Identification and Relationship Building:
    • Research and onboard influencers, content creators, and bloggers who align with the institutions values and objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers to foster long-term collaborations.
    • Negotiate contracts and deliverables with influencers, ensuring alignment with the campaigns objectives.
  3. Campaign Management:
    • Plan and execute influencer campaigns, including sponsored content, testimonials, giveaways, and social media collaborations.
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and optimize for better results.
    • Work closely with influencers to create authentic and compelling content that highlights the institutions programs, events, and achievements.
  4. Content Creation and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the in-house content and media teams to develop content briefs and guidelines for influencers.
    • Ensure influencer content adheres to the institution's branding, messaging, and compliance standards.
    • Coordinate live-streaming events, campus tours, or webinars featuring influencers.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key metrics of influencer campaigns, including ROI, engagement rates, and audience demographics.
    • Prepare performance reports and provide insights to improve future campaigns.
    • Stay updated on influencer marketing trends and best practices to inform strategy.
  6. Compliance and Ethics:
    • Ensure all influencer partnerships comply with advertising regulations and ethical guidelines.
    • Oversee proper disclosure of sponsored content to maintain transparency and trust with the audience.

  • Passion for education and the ability to articulate the institutions values effectively.
  • Familiarity with trends in the education industry and audience behavior, including prospective students and parents.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and attend institution-related events.
