Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources (HR) Management:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent.
  • Employee Development: Implement and manage training, learning, and development programs to foster employee growth and improve organizational performance.
  • Employee Engagement: Create initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention. Monitor employee feedback and implement necessary changes to enhance workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance management systems, ensuring regular performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Succession Planning: Identify high-potential employees and create succession plans to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Develop and maintain competitive salary structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans to ensure employee satisfaction and retention.

2. Industrial Relations (IR) Management:

  • Union Relations: Manage relationships with labor unions, employee representatives, and other stakeholders in collective bargaining and negotiations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator to resolve labor disputes, grievances, and conflicts, ensuring the organization's compliance with labor laws.
  • Policy Development: Design and implement labor policies and procedures that foster a positive work environment and compliance with local, state, and national labor laws.
  • Workplace Relations: Ensure effective communication between management and employees, encouraging a cooperative and productive work environment.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure that all industrial relations activities comply with applicable labor laws, rules, and regulations.

3. Compliance Management:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, including labor laws, health and safety, anti-discrimination policies, and other relevant legislation.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.


Preferred candidate profile

  • MBA (HR&IR) / MSW with at least 15 years of experience in HR, IR and compliance management. Experience of greenfield projects is an added advantage.
